Discussion on Academy Closure Support Fund and Public Parking Fee Exemption

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the 7th at 2 PM, Noh Hyun-song, Mayor of Gangseo-gu, attended the 'Seoul Metropolitan City District Mayors' Council Emergency Issue Video Conference' along with related department heads.

During the video conference attended by district mayors of Seoul, there was a heated discussion on the topics of 'Establishing reasonable standards for support payments for academy closures due to COVID-19' and 'One-hour free parking at public parking lots.'

Following the video conference, a detailed report on Gangseo-gu's progress regarding these matters was received from the relevant department heads.

Mayor Noh Hyun-song urged for the establishment of reasonable standards through collaboration with other districts, and requested prompt support so that academy and tutoring center operators, as well as residents who are struggling due to COVID-19, can feel the benefits directly.
