A 45-year-old woman residing in Dogok 1-dong, Gangnam-gu, is a family member of an international student daughter who was confirmed positive on the 27th of last month. While under self-quarantine, she showed chills and fever symptoms on the 6th and was tested at the Gangnam-gu Public Health Center, resulting in a positive diagnosis on the 7th.
Jung Soon-gyun, Mayor of Gangnam-gu, said in a briefing that "Due to the rapid increase in overseas arrivals, Gangnam-gu is continuously accepting pre-arrival registrations for efficient management. Residents with family members scheduled to enter the country are requested to apply at the Gangnam-gu Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters Situation Room or the local community service center."
