[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ga-yeon] Singer Kim Sang-hyuk, formerly of the group Click-B, and shopping mall CEO Song Da-ye, an influencer famous in the 2010s for her "ulzzang" (best face) status on Cyworld mini-homepages, have divorced after one year of marriage.

According to Munhwa Ilbo on the 7th, the two recently decided to divorce after failing to overcome personality differences.

A close associate of the couple told the media, "Kim Sang-hyuk and Song Da-ye had many conversations and thought carefully before ultimately deciding to go their separate ways." It is reported that they are currently undergoing divorce procedures.

The associate added, "Both are worried about speculative articles appearing in the media, but since it is something that cannot be hidden indefinitely, they are expected to make a statement if the matter becomes public."

Upon hearing the news, Kim Sang-hyuk expressed his feelings on his Instagram that day.

Kim Sang-hyuk said, "Two imperfect people met and tried hard to live well together," adding, "We should have embraced each other's wounds and lived happily, but I am sorry for not showing you a happy image."

He continued, "I feel like it is all my fault. I feel very heavy-hearted because there seem to be more things I failed to do than things I did well," and added, "I am truly sorry and struggling to share this news."

Meanwhile, the couple held a private wedding ceremony in a location in Seoul on April 7 last year after two years of dating. At that time, they revealed the wedding process through TV Chosun's "Taste of Wife."
