LH Accelerates with Start of Basic Plan and Basic Design Service for 3rd Phase New Town

[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo In-ho] LH has completed the basic planning and basic design service contracts for three districts among the 3rd phase new towns: Hanam Gyosan, Incheon Gyeyang, and Namyangju Wangsuk 2, and has begun full-scale service work.

On the 6th, LH selected Yushin Consortium, consisting of Yushin Co., Ltd. and four other companies, as the successful bidder for the Incheon Gyeyang district, and Seoyoung Engineering Consortium, consisting of Seoyoung Engineering Co., Ltd. and four other companies, for the Namyangju Wangsuk 2 district, and signed contracts respectively. Earlier, on the 1st, LH signed a contract with Dohwa Engineering Consortium, consisting of Dohwa Engineering Co., Ltd. and four other companies, for the Hanam Gyosan district.

In October of last year, LH announced the designation of Hanam Gyosan, Incheon Gyeyang, and Namyangju Wangsuk 2 districts as public housing districts, and in December of last year, it issued a bid announcement for the "Basic Planning and Detailed Design Service" to establish full-scale plans and designs.

Accordingly, major procedures such as the establishment of basic plans and district unit plans for the three districts are expected to proceed.

Based on the design services initiated this time and the results of the "3rd Phase New Town Basic Concept and Three-dimensional Urban Space Planning Competition" announced in March, LH plans to actively collaborate with joint project implementers, master planners, and others to promote the establishment of district plans within the year.
