[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] A woman in her 70s who was diagnosed with COVID-19 at a nursing hospital in Daegu and transferred to Busan for treatment has died. She is the 121st death related to Daegu and the 180th death nationwide.
According to Busan City on the 4th, a 76-year-old female patient from Daesil Nursing Hospital in Daegu, who was receiving treatment at Busan Medical Center, passed away around 4 a.m. that day.
The woman was admitted to Daesil Nursing Hospital in March 2015. Due to a cluster outbreak within the hospital, she was tested on the 18th of last month and confirmed positive two days later on the 20th. After the diagnosis, she was transferred to Busan Medical Center on the 22nd and had been receiving treatment there.
It is known that the woman had underlying conditions including dementia, lower body paralysis, and tuberculosis.
