[Asia Economy Reporter Wondara] Saturday, the 4th, is expected to have a large temperature difference and strong winds.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 3rd, the morning temperature on the 4th is forecasted to be 0 to 10 degrees Celsius, with a daytime high of 10 to 21 degrees. It will be clear nationwide, but strong winds are expected in most areas. In particular, strong winds with maximum instantaneous speeds exceeding 70 km/h (20 m/s) are expected in Gangwon Yeongdong, the northeastern mountains of Gyeongbuk, and the eastern coast of Gyeongbuk.

The KMA advised, "Since even a small spark can easily lead to a large fire in such conditions, please be especially careful to prevent fires during outdoor activities and mountain hiking on the weekend," and added, "Attention should also be paid to managing outdoor tents, signs, and other facilities at COVID-19 screening clinics."

The KMA also forecasted that high-concentration yellow dust exceeding 400 μg/m³ based on PM-10 standards may appear. For PM-10 concentrations, levels above 151 μg/m³ are classified as 'very bad.'

The KMA stated, "Yellow dust originated from northeastern China in the afternoon," and forecasted, "As the yellow dust crosses over with strong northwesterly winds behind the pressure trough passing through North Korea, yellow dust is likely to appear starting from Baengnyeongdo at dawn (3 to 6 a.m.) on the 4th, spreading to the central region in the morning and the southern region in the afternoon."
