According to Article 82-2, Paragraph 4 of the Public Official Election Act, three candidates?Joo Cheol-hyun (Democratic Party), Shim Jung-woo (United Future Party), and Lee Yong-joo (Independent)?will participate in the Gap electoral district debate. In the Eul electoral district, four candidates?Kim Hoe-jae (Democratic Party), Lim Dong-ha (United Future Party), Kim Jin-soo (Justice Party), and Kwon Se-do (Independent)?will participate in a heated debate. Additionally, pursuant to Article 82-2, Paragraph 5 of the Public Official Election Act, a speech session will be broadcast consecutively for candidate Jang Soo-hee (National Revolutionary Dividend Party) in the Gap electoral district candidate invitation debate.
Meanwhile, the theme of this debate is “Measures to Revitalize the Local Economy, etc.,” selected with reference to agendas collected through public opinion polls and voter topic/question submissions. The moderator will be Yoon Hyung-hyuk (journalist).
In particular, voters who miss the candidate debates on the broadcast day can watch them until election day via mobile and internet (debates.go.kr), the Central Election Broadcasting Debate Committee (YouTube·Naver TV), and other platforms.
