Ministry of Strategy and Finance-led '2019 Integrated Disclosure Inspection'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority (President Cha Min-sik, hereinafter referred to as the Authority) announced on the 3rd that it was selected as an "Excellent Disclosure Institution" for the first time since its establishment in the "2019 Integrated Disclosure Inspection" hosted by the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
The Authority was selected as an excellent institution by achieving zero penalties for two consecutive years in the integrated disclosure inspection conducted by the Ministry of Economy and Finance on March 31, which examined a total of 331 public institutions.
Integrated disclosure is a system hosted by the Ministry of Economy and Finance that standardizes key management information such as recruitment information, welfare expenses, and balance sheets according to the Act on the Operation of Public Institutions to enhance transparency in public institution operations and strengthen public monitoring functions, and discloses this information to the public through the Management Information Disclosure System (ALIO).
The Authority links the ALIO system to its homepage and designates persons in charge for each disclosure item, actively opening not only the institution's operational and financial information but also public information related to Yeosu and Gwangyang ports, striving to enable utilization in various fields related to the ports.
President Cha Min-sik said, "We will strive to become Yeosu and Gwangyang ports that develop together with the public by providing the information that the public wants accurately, promptly, and conveniently," and added, "All employees will continue to do their best to become a trusted institution through management transparency."
