[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Kim Seon-gap, Mayor of Gwangjin District, visited traditional markets, parks, and public parking lots within the district on the 3rd to conduct disinfection activities in person to prevent the local spread of COVID-19.


Mayor Kim first visited traditional markets in the area that have been struggling due to the economic downturn caused by COVID-19 and carried out disinfection activities.


The traditional markets visited that day were Norunsan Market and Yeongdonggyo Market located in Jayang-dong, where disinfection was conducted along with a session to listen to the difficulties faced by traditional market merchants struggling due to COVID-19.


Following this, Mayor Kim disinfected public facilities frequently used by residents, including restrooms and facilities in Jamajang Park and Guui Park, as well as the public parking lots in Guui 1-dong and 2-dong.


Mayor Kim Seon-gap said, "I personally took part in this disinfection activity to prevent the local spread of COVID-19 and to hear the grievances of traditional market merchants who are facing difficulties." He added, "We will continue to focus all administrative efforts to overcome COVID-19 and to restore the local economy that has been stagnated."
