[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Min Jun-young] Rookie idol group EVERGLOW tested negative for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).


On the 3rd, their agency Yuehua Entertainment stated, "One of our staff members tested positive for COVID-19 on the 2nd, so the group EVERGLOW also underwent testing. As of today (the 3rd), all members have tested negative, and we are sharing this news."


The agency added, "Following epidemiological investigations, staff members who may have had contact were also tested; some have received negative results, while others are still awaiting their test outcomes. Detailed information will be announced by the relevant authorities as it becomes available."


EVERGLOW, who received negative test results, is currently under self-quarantine. The agency said, "Although EVERGLOW tested negative, all scheduled activities have been canceled for safety, and they have entered a two-week self-quarantine period in accordance with government and related agencies' quarantine guidelines and procedures."


Furthermore, they stated, "We recognize the seriousness of the situation and will take all possible measures and cooperate actively. We apologize for causing concern."
