[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jong-hyo] Busan City announced on the 3rd that it will provide a lump sum cash payment of 1 million KRW per business, totaling 185.6 billion KRW, to support small business owners struggling due to the impact of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The recipients must be small business owners with annual sales of 300 million KRW or less, and both their business location and resident registration must be registered in the Busan area. As this is an emergency support measure, the aid will be provided in cash to ensure practical assistance.
Applications are primarily accepted online and can be submitted from the 6th through the 'Livelihood Support Fund Application' section on the district/county websites. The process involves completing a 'self-checklist,' signing up for and logging into Digital One Pass (pre-registration required) → entering application requirements (applicant information, business information, sales amount, account information, etc.) → and agreeing to provide personal information.
However, since applications may temporarily concentrate, a 'birth year 5-day rotation system' will be applied and implemented, similar to the public mask purchase 5-day rotation system. Applicants can apply on specific days based on the last digit of their birth year (Monday: 1,6; Tuesday: 2,7; Wednesday: 3,8; Thursday: 4,9; Friday: 5,0).
For those who have difficulty applying online, in-person applications will be accepted from the 17th at 205 neighborhood community centers, where the birth year 5-day rotation system will also apply.
For more details, please contact the representative phone number of each district/county.
