[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kang Joo-hee] Nam Tae-hyun, a member of the band South Club, clarified the controversy regarding his alleged double dating.

On the afternoon of the 1st, the band South Club appeared on the YouTube channel 'Potbbang Maebul Show Official.'

Nam Tae-hyun mentioned the controversies related to himself, saying, "The band is doing well, but I keep causing trouble from time to time."

Regarding the controversy sparked by singer Jang Jae-in's revelation, he said, "It was not double dating. I admit I caused the problem and was at fault, but I met someone else after we had broken up," adding, "I apologize for hurting you because of me. This incident made me truly realize the importance of people, and these days I live almost like a monk."

Previously, Nam Tae-hyun and Jang Jae-in became a couple after appearing on tvN's 'Workshop.' However, in June of the same year, Jang Jae-in revealed messages between her and Nam Tae-hyun, exposing his double dating and causing controversy.

In response, Nam Tae-hyun apologized, saying, "I sincerely apologize to Jang Jae-in and the other woman who were hurt by this incident," and "I will take responsibility for the damage caused by my negligence."
