[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] The Gyeongnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 4th that it will publicly recruit a pool of about 70 facilitators to assist with the School Space Innovation Project.
The Office of Education aims to invest a total of about 27.7 billion KRW this year in 197 schools and 11 'School Space Innovation Projects' to create school spaces where various educational activities, such as learning and resting spaces desired by students, are possible.
Facilitators guide, promote, and coordinate all processes such as user participation design and construction linked to the curriculum involving students and teachers at schools, and also act as intermediaries between school members, designers, and constructors.
Eligibility includes architecture education experts such as professors, architects, space/landscape/furniture designers, community activists capable of user-participatory classes, those with experience in the School Space Innovation Project, or experts capable of participatory design. The pool will be formed and operated through document screening.
