[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Woo-kwon] DGB Financial Group (Chairman Kim Tae-oh) announced on the 1st that it has launched an open API platform service jointly built by a total of four affiliates, including DGB Daegu Bank.
Open API (open application program interface) is an API made public so that users can directly develop application program services. An open API platform is a developer support platform that provides these APIs for developers to use more easily and stably.
DGB Data System, an IT specialist of DGB Financial Group, is in charge of overall operation and management, and four affiliates?DGB Daegu Bank, Hi Investment & Securities, DGB Life Insurance, and DGB Capital?jointly built the platform. It provides not only specialized APIs of each affiliate but also package-type APIs linking services between affiliates, establishing a new type of API-linked business.
In line with the launch of the open API platform, DGB Financial Group is conducting its first linked business using open API with TOSS. DGB Daegu Bank’s 'DGB Ssedamssedam Easy Loan' is linked with TOSS’s 'Find the Loan That Suits Me' service and introduced.
A group official stated, "Starting with DGB Daegu Bank, Hi Investment & Securities and DGB Capital will complete the introduction of API-related IT infrastructure that can link actual businesses in the first half of this year, and DGB Life Insurance plans to complete it by the first half of next year."
