'Radio Star' Lee Chan-won "Met Hong Jin-young in a past audition... was immediately eliminated"

[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Yeon-ju] Lee Chan-won revealed a story about how he once participated in Hong Jin-young's audition but was eliminated.

On the MBC entertainment program 'Radio Star' aired on the 1st, Lim Young-woong, Lee Chan-won, Young Tak, and Jang Min-ho, who gained great popularity from 'Mr. Trot,' appeared as guests.

During the broadcast, Lee Chan-won said, "I once participated in an audition called 'Find Hong Jin-young's Younger Brother.' But I was immediately eliminated as soon as I challenged the audition," adding, "I had a traditional trot style. Senior Hong Jin-young seems to handle various genres."

In response, Hong Jin-young explained, "I wasn't the one who eliminated him. At that time, my capacity was too small to contain Lee Chan-won. I was also younger then."
