[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Yang Hyangja, the Democratic Party preliminary candidate for Seo-gu (Eul), Gwangju Metropolitan City, announced on the 1st that she will support the timely completion of four local road projects, including Kumho Koaru～Udae Entrance Road.
The first project Yang promised to support is the "Kumho Koaru～Udae Entrance Road" road construction project. It is a project connecting Geumbu-ro, adjacent to Gwangju Sangmu Elementary School and Kumho Koaru Apartment, with Udae Entrance Road, planned to be 620m long and 20m wide. The total project cost is 17.1 billion KRW, and it is scheduled to be carried out until 2022.
The second is the "Kumho-dong Lorencia～Maewol-dong Adelium" road construction project. This project connects the road beside Lorencia Apartment Building 101 and the road near the back gate of Maewol-dong Adelium, planned to be 500m long and 20m wide. The total project cost is 12 billion KRW, and it is scheduled to be carried out until 2023.
The third is the "Pungam Distribution Complex Hoejae Distribution Road" construction project, which is planned to be 960m long and 20m wide within the Pungam-dong distribution complex, scheduled to be carried out until 2023.
Lastly, the "Pungam Distribution Complex～Songwon High School" road construction project involves opening an entrance and exit road from the Pungam Distribution Complex toward Songwon High School, connecting to Songam-ro. It is planned to be 203m long and 20m wide. The total project cost is 4.9 billion KRW, and it is scheduled to be carried out until 2021.
Candidate Yang said, "A total of four road construction projects totaling 2,283 meters will be promoted to improve residents' convenience and smooth traffic in the distribution complex," adding, "I will do my best to provide the necessary support in consultation with Gwangju Metropolitan City to ensure the projects are completed on schedule and residents can use them."
