Public Home Shopping's '24-Hour Daegu-Gyeongbuk Special Broadcast' Receives 2.2 Billion Won in Viewer Orders


[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Public Home Shopping announced that the special broadcast "Cheer Up Daegu-Gyeongbuk" held on the 31st achieved order sales of 2.2 billion KRW thanks to viewers' enthusiastic response.


This broadcast was prepared to support the Daegu-Gyeongbuk region, which was the most severely affected by the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), and was aired live and rebroadcast for 24 hours from 6 a.m. on the 31st. All products were produced by companies located in Daegu-Gyeongbuk, and approximately 2.25 billion KRW in orders were recorded from the sales broadcasts of 20 products.


Among the 20 products, ▲1 product exceeded 200 million KRW (Iraetteul Washed Apples) 10 products exceeded 100 million KRW (Jayeonhyang Apples, Real Gun Sweet Potatoes, Sangbok Lee Gyeongju Bread, Merienne Pure Cotton Washed Bedding, Nonghyup Pungsan Kimchi, Throat-Soothing Bellflower Pear Extract, Jebiwon Gochujang Making Kit, Dokdo Trade Myeonginamul, Arabelle Mattress Cover Set, Dalgubeol Makchang) 2 products exceeded 90 million KRW (Nonghyup Apples, Mijeongdang Rice Noodles) showed excellent performance. 10% of the sales amount from this broadcast will be donated as a social contribution fund to support COVID-19 recovery efforts in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk region.
