[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Choi Hyung-sik) announced on the 1st that it will hold the 'Damyang Tourism Souvenir Contest' from the 22nd to the 24th to discover tourism souvenirs reflecting historical and cultural characteristics.
The contest is open to all citizens nationwide and targets practical and sustainably producible products such as distinctive crafts, industrial products, and daily necessities themed around the county's tourism resources.
Applications can be submitted by visiting the Green Tourism Division at the county office or by mail, along with the application form, product description, and other required documents.
A county official said, "To prevent the spread of COVID-19, we have expanded the submission method to include mail," and added, "We ask for the support of many people so that the county can be widely promoted through tourism souvenirs."
