Gyeongnam Office of Education Holds Emergency Video Conference in Preparation for 'Online School Opening' On the 1st, Park Jong-hoon, Superintendent of Gyeongnam Office of Education, held an interactive emergency video conference with the heads of 18 educational support offices.


[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] The Gyeongnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 1st that it held an "Emergency Video Conference to Inspect the Educational Sites of 18 Cities and Counties in Gyeongnam Education" attended by the Superintendent of Education, department heads, and superintendents of 18 educational support offices to check the actual conditions of the education field due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).


During the meeting, follow-up measures of the Gyeongnam Office of Education according to the online school opening plan announced by the Ministry of Education the previous day were introduced, the status of on-site inspections was shared, and additional support measures for the field were discussed. Also, the interactive online learning program currently used in schools was utilized during the video conference.


Park Jong-hoon, Superintendent of Gyeongnam Education, urged, "In this unprecedented situation nationwide with school opening delays and online school openings, I ask the Office of Education and support offices to do their best in their respective positions to ensure that the curriculum can operate normally and to pay thorough attention to preventing infections among the education family."
