Direct Delivery and In-Person Pickup of Masks and Hand Sanitizers
Foreign students receiving encouragement supplies (Provided by Seoul National University of Science and Technology)
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] Seoul National University of Science and Technology announced on the 1st that it delivered encouragement supplies to about 700 foreign students who are in self-quarantine due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
Most of the foreign students are staying in dormitories or living in external accommodations. It is still difficult to purchase public masks directly at pharmacies. Accordingly, various departments of SeoulTech, as well as Nowon District Office and the Korea Institute of Radiological & Medical Sciences, donated encouragement supplies. The supplies included masks, hand sanitizers, stationery, personal hygiene products, and snacks, and were distributed through both direct delivery and in-person pickup methods.
Seonmin Kim, Vice President of SeoulTech, said, "We will do our best to overcome COVID-19 and help students continue their successful study abroad life in good health."
