COVID-19 Case Confirmed at CJ ENM Headquarters... 'You Quiz' Canceled Today (1st)

[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Min Jun-young] The tvN variety show 'You Quiz on the Block' will be preempted today (the 1st) due to emergency disinfection measures at its office building.

CJ ENM announced on the 31st, "tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block' will be on hiatus for two weeks on April 1st (Wednesday) and 8th (Wednesday) due to emergency disinfection measures at the office building," adding, "We ask for the viewers' kind understanding." During the usual airtime on the 1st, the movie 'Extreme Job' will be aired as a substitute.

This decision follows a recent confirmed case of COVID-19 infection in one of the producers of 'Bob Bless You 2,' which led to a full disinfection of the entire office building.

CJ ENM has closed the entire building since the 28th and is conducting 24-hour disinfection efforts. Except for a minimal number of staff, all employees have shifted to remote work. 'Bob Bless You 2' has decided on a two-week hiatus, and all production staff and crew are currently self-isolating.

Accordingly, besides 'You Quiz on the Block,' which shares the same office building, 'Amazing Saturday - Doremi Market' and 'Hungry but Lazy?' have also decided to take a break. 'Amazing Saturday - Doremi Market' will be off on the 4th (Saturday), with the 'Amazing Saturday Spring Song Special' airing as a replacement.

'You Quiz on the Block' is a program where Yoo Jae-suk and Jo Se-ho visit citizens' daily lives, have conversations, and play quizzes. After a winter break, 'You Quiz on the Block' has been airing every Wednesday at 9 PM since the 11th of last month.
