Gwangjin-gu, 2021 Public-Private Partnership Project Contest

Receiving Proposals for Collaborative Governance Projects Between Residents and Administrative Agencies Until April 30... Final Selected Projects to Be Implemented as 2021 Seoul Citizen Participation Budget

Gwangjin-gu, 2021 Public-Private Partnership Project Contest

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Seon-gap) has launched a 2021 Gwangjin-gu Public-Private Cooperation Project contest, allowing residents to directly participate in all stages of policy decision-making.

The Gwangjin-gu Public-Private Cooperation Project is designed to enable residents and administrative agencies to jointly consider local community issues and allow residents to participate directly in all stages of policy planning, execution, and evaluation.

Anyone who is a resident of Gwangjin-gu can apply for this contest by proposing a cooperation project that can be promoted through collaboration between residents and administrative agencies.

Applicants can download the proposal form from the notice board on the Gwangjin-gu Office website, complete it, and submit it by email (jhj4612@gwangjin.go.kr) or fax (3425-0160) by April 30.

After receiving submissions, the district will conduct a first review by the responsible department on the proposed projects, hold a public cooperation forum to gather residents' opinions, and then proceed with the Gwangjin-gu Cooperation Council's deliberation to make the final selection.

The final selected projects will be carried out as part of the 2021 Seoul Citizen Participation Budget, and the residents who proposed the projects will be able to participate together from the planning stage through execution and evaluation.

Kim Seon-gap, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, said, "Through this public-private cooperation project contest, we expect to establish a public-private cooperation system and discover various policies that residents truly need," and added, "We ask for the residents' great interest and participation in this public-private cooperation project contest."
