[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyo-jin] Kwon Kwang-seok, CEO of Woori Bank, established the 'Future Finance Design Department' directly under the CEO through the first organizational restructuring since his inauguration.


According to Woori Bank on the 31st, CEO Kwon carried out this organizational restructuring on the 27th.


Woori Bank explained that about 20 key personnel were assigned to the Future Finance Design Department. A Woori Bank official said, "The purpose is to enable proactive response to changes in the management environment."


The Future Finance Design Department consists of the Empathy and Trust Team and the Innovation Promotion Team.


The Empathy and Trust Team is responsible for preventing incidents caused by excessive focus on performance through communication with branches.


The Innovation Promotion Team is in charge of identifying and promoting Woori Bank's innovation tasks.


CEO Kwon, who took office on the 24th, presented management policies such as ▲restoring customer trust ▲organizational stability ▲innovation of sales culture.


At the time of his inauguration, CEO Kwon stated his plan: "I will lead by example to establish a sales culture centered on customers and sales that adhere to basics and principles, and communicate with a humble attitude and open mind so that employees can regain their self-esteem through organizational stability."


He also instructed, "Prepare support measures promptly so that small business customers who have been immediately affected by COVID-19 can alleviate their difficulties even a little."
