Amid the ongoing economic downturn caused by the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the value of brands that have established a solid foothold, unshaken by the rapidly changing economic market, is shining brightly.
The education specialist, Korea Education Group (KOREA EDUCATION GROUP, CEO Kim Young-woo), has proven its brand value by winning first place for four consecutive years in the academy education service category of the '2020 Korea Brand Star' organized by Brandstock.
The Korea Brand Star is a brand value evaluation certification system that selects and announces the number one brand value in major domestic industry sectors. It evaluates brands based on the BSTI model, divided into Brand Stock Index and Consumer Survey Index. The Brand Index converts stock prices into an index, allowing analysis of consumer tendencies and attitudes toward the brand, while the Consumer Index evaluates brands based on various criteria from 30,000 panel members.
The economic crisis serves as a measure to distinguish the strong from the weak. Despite the worsening domestic and international economic conditions caused by COVID-19, Korea Education Group has consistently considered and listened to students' opinions. To listen to customers' voices that companies might hesitate to hear, the group established the industry's first "Criticism Board" inside lecture halls and created an anonymous complaint board through the Korea Education Group app, allowing them to hear students' voices first and closest.
Based on the trust built with students over time, the group received the highest scores in brand awareness, favorability, trust, satisfaction, and service. This result is analyzed as an achievement of Korea Education Group's steady creation of brand value and provision of sincere educational services even in difficult circumstances.
Korea Education Group provides services optimized for employment under the slogan "Employment Specialist Academy," designing and offering student mentoring, employment systems, curriculum setup, practical consulting, and field visits. By reflecting students' real-time feedback through mentoring, they conduct classes focused on practical and field experience such as YouTube and artwork, rather than relying solely on tools.
In particular, the group was the first in the industry to open a portfolio class to help students build competent portfolios, focusing on increasing employment success rates. With a system optimized for employment, Korea Education Group is overcoming unemployment challenges, leading the job market, and gaining strong support from students by improving their employment rates.
Korea Education Group stated, "We are grateful to all the students and learners who helped us receive this honorable award for four consecutive years," adding, "We will continue to closely analyze employment market trends and strive to develop education to provide the best employment education services in Korea to students and learners hoping for employment."
