[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Seok-jin] The main perpetrator of the 'Doctor's Room' case, Jo Joo-bin (24, in custody), has appointed a defense attorney.

The Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office Digital Sex Crime Special Investigation Task Force (Team Leader Deputy Chief Prosecutor Yoo Hyun-jung) is conducting the fourth summons investigation of Jo from 10:15 a.m. on the 31st.

A prosecution official stated, "A letter of appointment was submitted today by Jo's defense attorney, and the attorney is expected to participate in the investigation starting from the afternoon session."

The name of the defense attorney representing Jo has not been disclosed as the attorney wished to remain anonymous.
