Honam Chungcheong Lotte Department Store Hosts One-Stop Shopping 'Family Event'

Honam Chungcheong Lotte Department Store Hosts One-Stop Shopping 'Family Event'

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Shin Dong-ho] Lotte Department Store Honam Chungcheong Region (Regional Manager Jeong Yoon-sung) announced on the 31st that it will hold a family event breaking down the boundaries of business types together with Lotte’s distribution companies from the 2nd to the 22nd of next month.

This event, held periodically at Lotte Outlet stores in the Gwangju and Jeonnam areas, is a collaboration with Lotte’s distribution affiliates such as Hi-Mart, LOBs, and Lotte Home Shopping, planning popular items in large quantities to present to consumers, with a total volume scale reaching approximately 10 billion KRW.

In particular, this event sells inventory held by Hi-Mart, LOBs, and others offline, allowing consumers to purchase popular seasonal items at affordable prices.

Lotte Department Store Honam Chungcheong Region’s strategy during this event period is to break down the boundaries of business types so that consumers can shop for not only fashion products but also electronics and cosmetics at the outlet in a one-stop manner, aiming to revive consumer sentiment that has been depressed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

First, Hi-Mart will invest a total volume of 7 billion KRW to hold a mega sale from the 2nd to the 15th at Lotte Outlet Gwangju World Cup Branch and Naman Branch.

They will offer a variety of products at reasonable prices, from popular electronics such as TVs, refrigerators, and washing machines to essential spring care appliances. Popular items from Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics can be purchased at up to 30% off the regular price when additional benefits such as affiliated card discounts are applied.

Additionally, a lineup of 10 small home appliance items will be featured in a queue sale, including the EMK fan (EFS-M8140WT) at 39,900 KRW, Mama air circulator (MCF-C718) at 29,900 KRW, and Promicook air fryer (PCC-3502NAF) at 58,900 KRW. On Saturdays and Sundays, Hi-Mart’s own planned product, the Hi-Made 32-inch TV (LE32K60HG), will be sold at a special price of 199,000 KRW.

Most notably, the “Top Efficiency Home Appliance Purchase Cost Refund Project,” which refunds 10% of the purchase price from the government when buying energy-efficient home appliances, has been in effect since the 23rd, so the discount consumers feel during the event period is expected to increase further.

Meanwhile, LOBs will hold a family sale from the 16th to the 22nd at Lotte Outlet Suwan Branch and Naman Branch.

This event offers discounts of up to 80% on cosmetics, sunscreen, perfumes, etc., allowing customers to purchase Bourjois eye shadow at 5,900 KRW, L’Or?al Paris foundation at 5,900 KRW, and Nailsnail Glow Parts Sapphire at 2,000 KRW at special prices.

Also, Lotte Home Shopping will hold an event from the 9th to the 15th at Lotte Outlet Naman Branch, offering items from popular Lotte Home Shopping brands at discounts of up to 75%.

Season best items such as the La Poff LF Hezuki trench coat will be offered at 39,000 KRW, Georges Rech GR metal point knit pants at 20,000 KRW, and 22 designs of shoes from OBM will be sold at a special price of 39,000 KRW.

In addition, Lotte Outlet will present various large-scale fashion events of its own, such as the Hyungji Fashion Group Exhibition at Gwangju World Cup Branch, Spring Sneakers Fair at Suwan Branch, and Soda Family Sale at Naman Branch from the 2nd to the 8th of next month.

Jeong Yoon-sung, Regional Manager of Lotte Department Store Honam Chungcheong Region, said, “Since consumer sentiment is very depressed due to COVID-19, we prepared an event that proposes customers’ lifestyles beyond the boundaries of business types,” adding, “We prepared a reasonably priced event together with Lotte’s distribution affiliates so that customers can receive practical benefits.”
