[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] iPhone users subscribed to LG Uplus can receive repair cost discounts from April to September.

On the 31st, LG Uplus announced that in cooperation with Apple authorized service provider TUVA, it will offer repair cost discounts to its subscribers from April 1 to September 30.

Apple products (iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch) activated through LG Uplus can receive a discount of 12,000 KRW on repair costs at TUVA service centers with no limit on the number of repairs. The same discount applies even if the user has already subscribed to mobile phone insurance.

To receive the discount, users can open the 'U+ Customer Center' app or the 'U+ Members' app, access the 'U+ iPhone Repair Cost Discount' event page, and obtain a repair cost discount coupon. Additionally, discount coupons can be obtained at LG Uplus stores and presented at the service center to receive the discount. Service center information can be found on the LG Uplus website or the TUVA website, and a reservation system is also available.

If there is no TUVA service center nearby, users can apply for A/S proxy service through LG Uplus stores nationwide and receive the same repair cost discount benefits. However, users who have subscribed to the manufacturer's own repair compensation program, AppleCare+, or have already replaced the battery at a discounted price through compensation programs cannot receive additional discounts.
