Shilla Stay Samseong is the 12th nationwide and 7th in Seoul since the first opening in Dongtan in November 2013. Located in Samseong-dong, the center of South Korea’s economy, trade, culture, tourism, and Hallyu, it is designed to attract MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, Exhibitions) clients and tourists, featuring a total of 309 rooms across 21 floors above ground and 3 basement levels.
Breaking the stereotype that the lobby must be on the first floor, Shilla Stay Samseong places its front desk and sky lounge lobby on the top floor, the 21st floor. Guests can enjoy a unique experience checking in while overlooking the city and the Han River. Especially, the 'Rooftop Terrace' on the 21st floor is a must-visit spot at Shilla Stay Samseong, where visitors can enjoy drinks and draft beer while taking in the dazzling city night view and the Han River area.
The newly introduced ‘Comfort Leisure Room’ offers differentiated facilities and services. The ‘Comfort Leisure’ room is equipped with a 65-inch smart TV with streaming services, a PlayStation, and a soundbar so guests can enjoy diverse entertainment inside the room. Additionally, it features a motion bed, providing a comfortable environment for a more relaxing rest.
On the 20th floor of the hotel, there is the restaurant ‘Cafe’ where guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets. The hotel also offers various amenities including a ‘Meeting Room’ that can accommodate up to 90 people, a 24-hour accessible ‘Business Corner,’ a ‘Fitness Center’ equipped with the latest exercise machines, and a ‘Laundry Room’ with self-service washing and drying facilities.
Shilla Stay was designed by Piero Lissoni, a world-renowned Italian architect known as a master of minimalism. The bedding in the rooms uses 100% premium Hungarian goose down, equivalent to a 5-star hotel standard. Amenities are provided by ‘Aveda,’ a well-known eco-friendly lifestyle brand, which has gained great popularity among guests.
Meanwhile, Shilla Stay Samseong is holding various events to celebrate its opening.
First, throughout April, the 20th-floor buffet restaurant ‘Cafe’ offers a 10% discount on lunch and dinner buffets and provides one bottle of house wine free for groups of four. Guests can enjoy carefully selected menus and fresh food at special prices while overlooking the dazzling city from the 20th floor of the hotel. At the bar on the 21st floor, unlimited draft beer is available for 10,000 KRW per person until April 30. Visitors can enjoy a relaxing time with an open city view and the Han River area from the indoor bar or rooftop terrace on the 21st floor.
