Samsung Electronics Had 105,000 Domestic Employees Last Year, a Record High

According to the business report released by Samsung Electronics on the 30th, the number of domestic employees at Samsung Electronics as of the end of last year was 105,257, an increase of 2,246 from the end of the previous year.

The number of domestic employees at Samsung Electronics decreased from 96,898 in 2015 to 93,200 in 2016. However, it increased to 99,784 in 2017 and surpassed 100,000 for the first time last year.

Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics' research and development expenses last year amounted to 20.2076 trillion won, exceeding 20 trillion won for the first time in history.
