[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Bank (President Song Jong-wook) announced on the 30th that it will offer the ‘Preliminary Professional Credit Loan’ starting from the 31st, providing social settlement preparation funds to prospective doctors, pharmacists, successful candidates of civil service and appointment exams, and holders of professional certifications.

Customers can consult at any Gwangju Bank branch by presenting proof of passing the respective certification exam.

The loan limit is up to 50 million KRW depending on the certification, with interest rates as low as 3.15% per annum based on the bank transaction history. Borrowers can freely choose the repayment method according to their individual financial plans.

Park Ki-won, Head of Sales Planning at Gwangju Bank, said, “This product was launched to resolve financial difficulties faced by professional certification holders who cannot receive loan benefits due to lack of income proof.” He added, “Going forward, Gwangju Bank will continue to do its best to introduce various financial products and services that prioritize customers’ perspectives for their prosperous financial lives.”
