New President of the Korean Association of Public Finance: Professor Park Gi-baek of University of Seoul

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunbyeol Kim] The Korean Association of Public Finance announced on the 30th that Professor Ki-baek Park of the Graduate School of Taxation at the University of Seoul will take office as the new president on the 1st of next month.

President Park, a graduate of Namsung High School and Seoul National University’s Department of Economics, earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin. He has served as the head of the Fiscal Research Division at the Korea Institute of Public Finance and has been on the faculty at the University of Seoul since 2009.
