From the 31st, a total of 1,586 real estate agencies will receive support with 4 KF-94 masks each (1 set)... Subsequently, 8,264 local restaurants will be provided with 20 dental masks each (1 set)
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seocho-gu (Mayor Eunhee Cho) will distribute 171,624 dental masks to a total of 9,850 locations, including all restaurants and real estate agencies in the area, over two days from March 31 to April 1 to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and revitalize the local economy.
The distribution targets are multi-use facilities frequently used by residents, including ▲6,060 general restaurants ▲2,204 snack bars ▲1,586 real estate agencies, totaling 9,850 places.
The district will distribute 4 KF-94 masks (1 set) to each real estate agency and plans to distribute 20 dental masks (1 set) to restaurants in the future.
In particular, the district has secured 171,624 masks and will use self-produced "mask distribution envelopes" to place masks in each envelope before distribution.
The front of the mask envelopes is attached with encouraging messages such as "It is a difficult time, but let's overcome it together. Everyone, stay strong!" to deliver a message of hope to business owners physically and mentally exhausted by COVID-19.
To minimize contact, the district plans to directly visit each business using volunteers familiar with local conditions, such as the Saemaeul Movement Seocho-gu branch, to distribute masks.
The reason the district is distributing dental masks to restaurants and real estate agencies this time is to provide direct assistance to many local business owners who still face difficulties in mask supply despite the government's public mask sales.
Mayor Eunhee Cho said, "With this mask distribution, we will protect the health of residents and business owners alike, respond together to economic difficulties caused by reduced consumption, and revive the local economy."
