Volvo Official Certified Used Cars 'Volvo SELEKT Suwon Showroom' Opens

[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Volvo Cars Korea announced on the 30th that it has signed a business agreement for certified used car operations with its official dealer H Motors and will open the ‘Volvo SELEKT Suwon Showroom’ at 16 Jungbu-daero, Giheung-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do on the 1st of next month.

Volvo SELEKT, derived from the Swedish-style spelling of the English word ‘selectivity,’ is Volvo Cars’ certified used car business name that offers used cars that have passed a total of 180 technical and quality inspections. Volvo Cars Korea launched the official certified used car ‘Volvo SELEKT’ in 2018 to strengthen after-sales management for existing customers and expand choices for new customers.

The ‘Volvo SELEKT Suwon Showroom’ operated by H Motors is the second official certified used car store following Gimpo, located in the same building as the existing Suwon showroom with a total area of 1,122㎡. The facility can display up to 30 vehicles, allowing customers to compare new cars and certified used cars side by side.

Volvo SELEKT selects and sells models that have passed strict certification by official service center technicians from vehicles registered within 6 years or driven less than 120,000 km (whichever comes first). In particular, to ensure customer confidence, vehicles can be refunded within 7 days or under 700 km driven (whichever comes first) if structural defects or abnormalities occur during driving, and a maintenance history report by professional technicians is provided. Additionally, premium after-sales services such as up to 1 year or 20,000 km warranty and 24-hour emergency roadside assistance are offered.

Meanwhile, to commemorate the opening of the showroom, all visitors to the ‘Volvo SELEKT Suwon Showroom’ will receive souvenirs until June 30, and customers who purchase a vehicle will receive a welcome package. The first 20 customers will receive a golf bag set, and subsequent customers will be given a welcome package and a trolley bag.
