[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] BC Card announced on the 30th that it will hold a cashback and points accumulation event for customers making payments at online merchants for the first time this year.
This event is targeted at customers who have no payment records at online merchants this year. By applying through the '#MyTag' within the Paybook app by April 30 and making payments at online merchants with BC credit or check cards, customers will receive a 10% cashback benefit (up to 5,000 KRW per person during the period). Applications are accepted for the first 120,000 people on a first-come, first-served basis.
Participating customers will also be eligible for a lottery to receive Top Points of 50,000 points (100 people) and 10,000 points (200 people). Winners will be individually notified and points will be credited in May. Top Points can be used for payment deductions, discounts at affiliated merchants, and can also be deposited into registered accounts.
Meanwhile, BC Card offers interest-free installment benefits to all its customers. Customers who pay 50,000 KRW or more at online merchants using BC credit cards will receive up to 6 months of interest-free installments at all times. Additionally, until April 30, customers who pay 50,000 KRW or more at small and medium-sized merchants with annual sales of 500 million KRW or less using BC credit cards will receive up to 3 months of interest-free installments.
