[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Park Hee-eun] Freelance reporter Kim Woong clarified the controversy surrounding Jo Joo-bin (25), the perpetrator of the 'Telegram Nth Room' case, and Sohn Suk-hee, CEO of JTBC.

On the night of the 28th at 9:20 PM, Kim conducted a live broadcast titled "Jo Joo-bin hinted at Sohn Suk-hee's extramarital child but I don't believe it" on his YouTube channel 'Kim Woong Reporter Live.' During the one-hour broadcast, he also revealed part of the Telegram conversations he had with the perpetrator Jo Joo-bin.

That day, Kim said, "Sohn Suk-hee, CEO of JTBC, used Jo to mention me," adding, "If you are going to quote someone, quote the right person, not the so-called devil (Jo)."

He continued, "To quote Jo literally, 'When CEO Sohn went to Gwacheon, there was a baby in the car, and the woman in the car is someone everyone knows,' implying an extramarital child," but emphasized, "However, I did not believe such words."

Regarding Sohn's statement to JTBC reporters that "Jo Joo-bin threatened that Samsung is behind Kim Woong," Kim said, "I have no backing," and added, "I want any company to be my backing. I want right-wing patriotic citizens to be my backing."

Especially, toward the end of the broadcast, Kim revealed part of the Telegram conversation exchanged with Jo Joo-bin around 8 PM on December 26 last year.

In the conversation, Jo Joo-bin reportedly said, "You know that Sohn (CEO Sohn) received an order for the general election. He is seriously considering it and has even given up the anchor position."

Kim then said, "I think the public needs to know what kind of conversations I had with Jo Joo-bin, so I am broadcasting on this topic," and added,

"I feel sorry for Seok-hee hyung (older brother) for selling his soul to the devil. (I said) 'You made me a wreck like this and sold your soul to that devil? Why did you do that, hyung?'"

Regarding this controversy, Samsung stated, "The explanation Sohn gave to JTBC reporters does not align with objective facts or the context. Samsung, which is completely unrelated to this incident, could suffer serious damage to its corporate image just by being mentioned. We do not understand why they are trying to divert attention by mentioning Samsung," conveying their official position.
