[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] Yoo Seung-min, a member of the Future United Party who expressed his intention to serve quietly without seeking a position, has embarked on an active campaign by supporting Jin Su-hee, the candidate for Seoul Jung-Seongdong Gap, followed by Ji Sang-wook, the candidate for Jung-Seongdong Eul, and Kim Woong, the candidate for Seoul Songpa Gap.
According to a Future United Party official on the 28th, Representative Yoo will visit the campaign offices of these candidates on the 29th to offer his support.
At 11 a.m., he plans to visit Ji's office located in Jung-gu, Seoul, and at 3 p.m., he will visit Kim's office in Songpa-gu to encourage them.
Having remained out of the public eye since the conservative unification, Representative Yoo broke his silence after more than two months by visiting Jin's campaign office in Seongdong-gu on the 27th.
He stated, "Although I did not serve as the head of the election committee, now that the nominations are over and the election has begun, I will serve quietly without any title and do whatever I can to help the candidates," expressing his intention to actively participate. Jin is a member of the Yoo Seung-min faction, having served as the general director of Yoo's Bareun Party presidential campaign in the 2017 presidential election.
