[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Jung-gu, Seoul (Mayor Seoyangho) received a donation of 10,000 cotton masks and 1,000 pairs of socks from Ssangbangwool and Namyoung Vivian at 10 a.m. on the 26th in the mayor's office on the 3rd floor of Jung-gu Office.


Namyoung Vivian CEO Lee Gyuhwa expressed hope that even cotton masks would be helpful during these difficult times of mask shortages, conveying the purpose of the donation, while Ssangbangwool Vice President Kim Seho also expressed willingness to actively participate in overcoming the COVID-19 crisis.


The donated items will be used for COVID-19 prevention activities such as the cotton mask sharing campaign conducted by the Volunteer Center, and will also be used for volunteers (organizations) and various volunteer activity programs.


Ssangbangwool, headquartered in Jung-gu, is a leading domestic underwear company that continues social contribution activities such as underwear support campaigns and energy-saving campaigns.


Namyoung Vivian, a lingerie specialist company famous for its flagship brand 'Vivian,' has also been continuing scholarship projects and underwear support projects for single mothers for several years.


Recently, Ssangbangwool and Namyoung Vivian attracted attention by donating 100,000 masks each to the Daegu region and Gyeonggi Provincial Government.


CEO Lee Gyuhwa said, "A national crisis is also a corporate crisis," and added, "We will continue to provide necessary support to overcome the crisis together with Ssangbangwool."


Seoyangho, Mayor of Jung-gu, said, "I deeply appreciate the good companies Ssangbangwool and Namyoung Vivian, who are leading social contribution activities even in these difficult times. These helping hands coming together are becoming the driving force to overcome this crisis."
