[Asia Economy Reporter Byunghee Park] The Mapo Cultural Foundation will live stream the performance "All that tango" online at 11 a.m. on the 31st.

"All that tango" is a performance featuring "Tierra," the only tango-specialized orchestra in Korea, tango masters Odil & Jose Luis active worldwide, and Argentine dancers Pelin & Miguel, finalists of the 2012 Argentina Metropolitan Tango Competition, the most prestigious in the world. Originally, All that tango was scheduled as part of Mapo Cultural Foundation's social contribution program "Salon de Mapo," but it was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Mapo Cultural Foundation announced that it will support the performers of the canceled show by providing the stage and continuing with a no-audience live-streamed performance.

All that tango will be performed without an audience at the Mapo Art Center at 11 a.m. on the 31st. The live performance will be streamed on the Mapo Cultural Foundation's Facebook and Mapo TV (Mapo District Office) YouTube channels.

The Mapo Cultural Foundation will also newly launch the program "Ddingdong! Culture Delivery Has Arrived," which selects and introduces more than three high-quality online open contents weekly. The "Ddingdong! Culture Delivery Has Arrived" program will be regularly updated on the Mapo Cultural Foundation's official website starting from Friday the 27th.

Song Jeyong, CEO of the Mapo Cultural Foundation, stated, "We have prepared diverse services that can be enjoyed at home to comfort citizens exhausted by the prolonged COVID-19 situation and to minimize the cultural gap period. We also plan to continue no-audience live-streamed performances to preserve a place for artists who suddenly lost their stages."
