The Eumseong Police Station in Chungbuk announced on the 26th that they are conducting an internal investigation regarding media reports that a video of a woman walking naked on the streets of Eumseong-gun is spreading on social media.
On the same day, a media outlet reported an article and photos showing a woman with short hair walking completely naked through the downtown streets of Eumseong-gun.
The video appears to have been taken by someone passing by in a car, capturing the short-haired woman walking naked on the sidewalk. Behind her, store signs on the streets of Eumseong-gun are visible. The woman walks straight without staggering, suggesting she is not intoxicated.
A police official stated, "There have been no reports or cases filed about a naked woman walking, so we do not have precise information," adding, "While we cannot confirm why she was walking naked on the sidewalk, filming and distributing such videos may be subject to legal penalties."
