[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] Korea Center announced on the 26th that it has completed the exclusive domestic distribution contract for the ‘Instant Pot Duo Plus’ and will begin sales.

The Instant Pot from Corelle, a global kitchenware company, is a multi-pressure cooker that uses pressure cooking to quickly and healthily prepare various dishes with the push of a button. It is a popular home appliance that sold nearly 400,000 units in just two days during a sale period on Amazon in the United States last July.

The Instant Pot Duo Plus is the top-tier model with four additional functions?sous vide, baked eggs, cake, and sterilization?added to the Instant Pot models currently distributed domestically. It features a total of 14 functions including pressure cooking, slow cooking, steaming, warming, rice cooking, saut?ing, and yogurt making, and can cook up to 70% faster than previous cooking times by using high pressure. It also expands customer choice by launching three new capacities (3L, 5.7L, 8L) that were not available in previous products.

Free after-sales service (A/S) is provided only for products purchased through Korea Center’s official online sales channels, and exclusive pre-orders will begin today through eBay platforms such as Auction, Gmarket, and G9.

To commemorate the launch, all customers who purchase by the 1st of next month will receive 7% Smile Cash, and those who write a photo review after purchase will be given a Starbucks gifticon additionally.
