[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] Shilla Stay Yeoksam, a business hotel operated by Hotel Shilla, will temporarily close due to a visit by a confirmed case of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
On the 26th, Hotel Shilla announced that it received information from health authorities that a guest who stayed at Shilla Stay Yeoksam was confirmed positive for COVID-19. The hotel will temporarily close from that day until noon on the 27th and will conduct disinfection work.
A Hotel Shilla official stated, "In accordance with the standards of the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency, we will immediately carry out thorough additional disinfection and ventilation, and plan to resume operations from noon on the 27th. We will ensure all safety and hygiene measures are fully completed before welcoming customers again."
