WI launches two types of Pengsoo AirPods cases

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] WI, a company specializing in character and brand licensing, is launching new products featuring the popular creator 'Pengsoo.'

WI announced on the 26th that it will newly launch two types of 'Pengsoo AirPods Case (Big Face)' using the Pengsoo IP. The 'Pengsoo AirPods Case' will be available for purchase through the online store 'With Shop' starting at 1 PM on the 27th.

The newly launched 'Pengsoo AirPods Case' is compatible with both AirPods 1st and 2nd generation. The case lid is detachable for easy opening and closing, and the top lid can be secured with the headset worn by Pengsoo.

Last month, WI signed an official license agreement with the Korean Educational Broadcasting System (EBS) for the Pengsoo IP and is currently selling mobile accessory products utilizing the Pengsoo IP.

The first product, 'Pengsoo Grip Tok,' which went on sale on the 5th, sold out immediately upon release during the first sales, and all quantities were sold out within one hour during the second sales on the 10th.

A company representative stated, "Due to Pengsoo's high popularity, we are discussing additional orders with manufacturers to secure sufficient product quantities," adding, "We will do our best to secure as much additional stock as possible to continue sales through the online store."
