[Asia Economy Reporter Geum Bo-ryeong] Wise ITEC has been commissioned to build the Korea Forest Service Forest Resources Statistical Analysis System.
Wise ITEC announced on the 26th that it had won the first phase of the Korea Forest Service Forest Resources Statistical Analysis System construction project. The contract amount is 1.232 billion KRW, which is 7.44% of the 2018 sales revenue.
The first phase of the Forest Resources Statistical Analysis System construction project aims to establish an integrated statistical analysis system for forest resources to analyze the correlation and effectiveness of forests, such as urban forests, in reducing fine dust, in response to growing social interest in fine dust reduction effects. The total project amount is 1.9 billion KRW.
Wise ITEC plans to form a consortium with Siseon IT and organize the project with a big data team for implementing statistical analysis and visualization services for the public and internal users, a data quality team to establish a data quality management system, and an internal and external system integration team.
Kim Jong-hyun, CEO of Wise ITEC, said, "We will successfully complete the Forest Resources Statistical Analysis System construction project and contribute to national tasks such as fine dust reduction."
