[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Interpark announced on the 26th that it will hold the '1st Interpark Pet Online Expo.' This expo, held for the first time at Interpark's pet specialty mall 'Interpark Pet,' was planned for pet owners who find it difficult to participate in offline expos due to the recent spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). Through this expo, which runs until the 3rd of next month, customers can explore a variety of items such as pet food, snacks, supplements, clothing, accessories, and supplies all at once from home.
Thirty-two major brands including Wellness, NOW, Inaba, Welz, and Natural Core are participating, with over 1,000 products available. There is a 'Warehouse Clearance' section offering discounts of up to 70%, as well as a 'Brand Hall' section where premium brands like Jiwipick, Pilu, and Lilys Kitchen, which usually do not hold discount events, can be purchased at affordable prices.
Kim Hak-su, head of the pet division at Interpark's MD Business Team, said, "Due to the impact of COVID-19, offline pet expos have been canceled or postponed, so we planned this Interpark Pet Online Expo to provide some help to pet owners." He added, "We plan to expand communication with customers through more diverse channels."
