March 30 to April 3, Daily at 6:30 PM, Singer-Songwriter 'Migi' Hosts... Various Themes Including K-Pop, Classical Music, Magic Show... Audience-Free Performance Live Streamed Online
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Guro-gu (Mayor Lee Sung) is preparing an 'online concert' to encourage participation in social distancing.
On the 26th, Guro-gu announced that it will hold an online performance titled 'Delivery to Home,' produced directly by the district office, to comfort residents exhausted by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and to minimize cultural gaps.
The 'Delivery to Home' concert will be held at the Guro-gu Community Center without an audience. Instead, it will be broadcast live online in real time.
Anyone can enjoy the performance by searching for 'Guro-gu Office Broadcasting Center' or 'Delivery to Home Concert' on YouTube or AfreecaTV. The concert will be conducted interactively, allowing communication with the audience, such as song requests. The performance will also be uploaded on Facebook afterward.
The concert will take place over five days from March 30 to April 3. It will be held daily from 6:30 PM for 40 minutes, hosted by the famous singer-songwriter and YouTuber 'MIGI.' The program includes various content by date: popular songs on the 30th, classical music on the 31st, a magic show on April 1, musical OSTs on the 2nd, and popular songs again on the 3rd.
To wish for overcoming COVID-19 and to support social distancing, guest appearances by popular singers are also planned. Yo-Yo Mi, who has been active recently on variety shows, Han I-jae from Mr. Trot, Kwak Jong-mok from the group Geonadeul, and singer Hong Si are scheduled to appear.
Before the performance, an announcement message encouraging active participation in the social distancing 'Pause for a Moment' campaign will be delivered.
A Guro-gu official said, "We are working hard to create a performance that can energize residents who are tired and struggling due to COVID-19," adding, "We hope many people can ease their disappointment of not being able to visit concert halls through this online concert."
