Ihankyu, Standing Commissioner of Daejeon City Election Commission, Ranks 1st with 1.30586 Billion Won
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Among the property disclosure subjects managed by the National Election Commission, the average assets of 24 current officials were found to be 690 million KRW.
According to the public official asset registration details announced on the 26th by the Public Official Ethics Committee of the National Election Commission, as of the end of last year, the average assets per person among 24 current officials including the Secretary-General and standing commissioners were calculated at 699.058 million KRW.
The person with the highest reported assets was Lee Han-gyu, standing commissioner of the Daejeon City Election Commission, who declared 1.30586 billion KRW.
Following him were Moon Byung-gil, standing commissioner of the Incheon City Election Commission (1.16217 billion KRW), and Park Chan-jin, Director of Election Policy at the National Election Commission (1.12798 billion KRW), ranking second and third respectively.
The official who reported the least assets was Lee Dong-gyu, standing commissioner of the Sejong City Election Commission, with 233.43 million KRW.
Park Young-soo, Secretary-General of the National Election Commission, reported 370.79 million KRW, an increase of 31.71 million KRW from the previous declaration, and Kim Se-hwan, Deputy Secretary-General, reported 1.06863 billion KRW, an increase of 216.12 million KRW.
The current asset disclosure subjects also included three retirees from last year, including Yoon Seok-geun, former standing commissioner of the Internet Election Reporting Deliberation Committee.
