[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeon Seong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim Junsung) announced on the 25th that on the 24th, it signed a business agreement at the county office with Daemasan Industrial Complex resident companies, CAMSYS Co., Ltd. and LK GLSP Co., Ltd., to overcome population decline.
To build regional consensus on overcoming population issues, the county has been expanding business agreements to overcome population decline targeting local companies, following last year's agreements with 276 institutions and social organizations located in all towns and townships.
The two companies, CAMSYS Co., Ltd., a micro electric vehicle manufacturer, and LK GLSP Co., Ltd., an automobile parts manufacturer, have a total of about 70 employees.
Through this agreement, the county will actively provide population education for company employees, support the ‘Visiting Address Change Service,’ promote companies implementing their own population increase policies, and guide systems supporting work-family balance.
CAMSYS Co., Ltd. and LK GLSP Co., Ltd. agreed to participate in the ‘My Hometown, My Workplace Address Ownership’ campaign, promote Yeonggwang-gun’s population increase policies when hiring new employees to encourage settlement in the area, and actively pursue their own policies for work-family balance.
Governor Kim Junsung said, “I hope that this agreement will lead to the spread of a family-friendly corporate culture balancing work and family, contributing to employees settling in the region and increasing the population,” and added, “We will share population issues with companies as members of the community and seek cooperative solutions.”
