[Asia Economy Reporter Minyoung Kim] Park Yunho was inaugurated as the CEO of JT Chinhae Savings Bank on the 25th.
JT Chinhae Savings Bank announced that it appointed Park as CEO by consecutively holding the regular shareholders' meeting and board of directors meeting on the same day.
Following the first CEO Yoon Byungmook, the newly appointed CEO Park, who became connected with JT Chinhae Savings Bank as an outside director in August 2012 and then served as a full-time audit committee member from February 2013, has significantly contributed to improving overall management risks for over seven years, the company explained. JT Chinhae Savings Bank explained the reason for his appointment, saying, "The new CEO Park is a suitable candidate for managing a savings bank with over 40 years of extensive practical experience and expertise in various financial companies," and added, "He has strong internal trust due to his gentle yet firm leadership style and excellent communication skills."
Born in 1952, CEO Park graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in Business Administration and earned an MBA from Claremont Graduate University in the United States. He worked for over 20 years at the Bank of Korea (Bank Supervisory Agency), then served as a full-time auditor at Hana Daetoo Securities and vice president at Hana UBS Asset Management. He joined JT Chinhae Savings Bank in 2012, serving as an outside director and full-time audit committee member, accumulating experience and know-how across various financial sectors.
CEO Park stated, "JT Chinhae Savings Bank aims to achieve solid growth through portfolio optimization and thorough risk management amid increasingly deteriorating business conditions," and added, "We will continue to faithfully fulfill our role as a financial institution for the common people and do our best to grow together with the local economy."
