'Mobile Pride' Lineage2M Secures Top Spot with Server Transfer

Server Migration Event Starting at 2 PM on the 25th

[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-gyu Lee] NCSoft's hit game Lineage2M is aiming to maintain its position as the top-grossing game with a 'server transfer' event.

NCSoft announced that the Lineage2M server transfer event will begin at 2 PM on the 25th. This is the first server transfer since the launch of Lineage2M. Players can transfer their characters to any of the 130 servers by the 31st.

When transferring servers, character experience points and owned items, as well as diamonds, mileage, class, Agathion, collection information, spirit engraving information, dungeon usage history and time, etc., will also be moved to the new server.

However, to transfer servers, the character must be at least level 45 and must not be a member of or applying to join a clan. Items must not remain in the marketplace, shop storage, or mailbox. Also, the target server must have available character slots.

Additionally, transfers are restricted if the character has more than 13 weapons, 25 pieces of armor, 21 accessories, or over 200 million Adena. This is to prevent server transfers solely for item selling or buying.

Based on NCSoft's flagship PC game Lineage2 intellectual property (IP), Lineage2M was launched on November 27 last year and has maintained the number one spot in Google Play sales for four consecutive months, demonstrating strong performance. The average daily sales in Q4 last year ranged from 4.5 billion to 5 billion KRW, exceeding the initial market expectations of 3 to 4 billion KRW. Lineage2M currently operates 130 servers, and despite the massive traffic from numerous users logging in, it has received praise for having no server downtime or other issues so far.

NCSoft expects this event to prevent user outflow and increase game playtime again. An NCSoft representative said, "Players who were previously on different servers and could not meet can now transfer servers and enjoy the game together."
