Broadcaster Hong Seok-cheon posted on his Instagram on the morning of the 22nd, saying, "If there is a person who shines, it would undoubtedly be Park Bo-gum," and added, "Bo-gum, who made a special appearance out of loyalty to the director of Itaewon Class after the final episode last night, is such a beloved presence that all the staff on set cheered loudly."
He continued, "Although it was brief, he is a shining kid. When I first saw him in a small role, I thought he would become a great star. I hope he is loved for a long time with that same appearance and heart," praising Park Bo-gum. He also shared his thoughts on the JTBC drama 'Itaewon Class' ending, saying, "As we say goodbye to the beloved Itaewon Class, to the director, writers, staff, and actors, it has been a happy time. How does the alcohol taste? Tonight is a night for drinking."
Through his post, Hong Seok-cheon also praised Park Bo-gum, saying, "I casually said, 'Hyung, I'll come to your restaurant to eat,' but he really took the subway and came with a friend to eat. Did you take the subway? Yes, I often take it. It's comfortable and nice. Isn't he a really good younger brother?"
In the released photos, Hong Seok-cheon posed with Park Bo-gum, who had visited his restaurant in the past. Another photo shared showed Park Bo-gum’s special appearance in the final episode of 'Itaewon Class' along with actress Kwon Na-ra.
Meanwhile, 'Itaewon Class' ended on the 21st, recording nationwide viewership ratings of 16.5% and 18.3% in the metropolitan area for the final episode.
